I took it on our way back from casino...on the way to kyogle. I do remember telling the boys how much I didn't like roller coaster rides before we did this road lol! But I enjoyed it and it was in pretty good condition when we went through. Just one massive pothole almost took us all out lol

I did it for the first time yesterday with all the Katana Australia guys heading down to their State of Origin meetup with the NSW and Vic guys.

I only went as far as Casino with them.

Gotta say I love Lyons Rd and can't wait to try it again in the dry... got very little time yesterday without rain.

Here's my first edited bit from yesterday's ride:

I am heading to Grafton on Friday via Beaudesert etc. I am yet to travel Lyons Road although I know the road location. Tough decision - Mt Lindseay twisties or try Lyons Road. map reading

Hmmmm... I did Lions Rd on the way down to Casino with the Katana guys, and did Mt Lindsay from Woodenbong back to Beaudesert on the way back.

In the rain like we had, Mt Lindsay is the better surface. In the dry... man I'd rather do Lions Rd thumb.up

Oh, I did a typo in my vid's... it's Lions not Lyons, no idea how I got that so wrong... groan

Here's part two from Saturday...

No worries mate, just take it easy as it's real narrow and you can see how narrow with the couple of cars we passed. There is also lots of cow crap around the place which would be quite slippery mid-corner if you hit it... oh and cattle grids are slippery too...

Definitely give it a crack I reckon thumb.up

And here's the last bit:
